Characteristics

Ephemeral herb with fibrous roots. Stem to 5 mm long. Leaves usually less than 20 in a convex rosette; lamina orbicular, almost peltate, 0.5–1 mm diam., on terete petiole 3–6 mm long; stipules 3-lobed, 1–3 mm long, the mid-lobe entire or bifurcate and obtuse, the lateral lobes entire, obtuse. Scapes 1–3, to 17 mm long, minutely glandular, 1-or 2-flowered; pedicels to 1 mm long. Calyx 1.5 mm long, glabrous, divided for 1 mm into ovate lobes; margin dentate. Petals obovate, 1.5 mm long, white. Styles 4 or 5, simple, to 0.5 mm long; stigmas slightly dilated upwards.
