Tuberous herb; vertical stolon 3–5 cm long. Stems 2, sometimes 1, erect, (2)8–12 cm long, with a few prophylls 1–2 mm long. Basal leaves in a flat rosette, the lamina flabellate, 4–6 mm long, 4–5 mm wide, on petiole 2–5 mm long; cauline leaves alternate, similar to basal leaves but usually with narrower petioles. Scapes 1–3, basal, 2–3 cm long, 1–4-flowered, deflexed in fruit. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, 3–4 mm long. Petals obovate, 5–7 mm long, white. Styles 3, 1–2 mm long, each divided to base into many filiform segments.
