Characteristics

Herb with fibrous roots. Stem 3–4 cm long. Leaves crowded, obovate, often some– what emarginate, 8–10 cm long, 4–5 cm wide, shortly petiolate; stipules laciniate. Scape 1, about as long as leaves or slightly longer, glandular-hirsute, 10–25-flowered; bracts linear, 2–3 mm long; pedicels 5–10 mm long. Calyx 5 mm long, glandular, deeply divided into lanceolate lobes, the apices fimbriate. Petals obovate, 6 mm long, bright pink. Anther connective bipartite. Styles 3, 1.5 mm long, dichotomously branched in upper half, the stigmas slightly dilated.
