Tuberous herb; vertical stolon 8–20 cm long. Stem erect, rigid, 15–30 cm long, glandular-pilose. Leaves cauline, in threes, the lamina orbicular, concave, 4–6 mm diam., peltate; primary petioles 1–2 cm long, lateral petioles 0.5–1 cm long. Inflo– rescence an open panicle, 3–12-flowered; pedicels 5–10 mm long. Sepals lanceolate, densely pubescent, fringed. Petals broadly obovate, 12–15 mm long, pink. Styles 3, 2.5–3.5 mm long, repeatedly branched into numerous segments.
