Herb with tuber. Stem climbing or scrambling, 20–40 cm long, unbranched; prophylls absent or few. Basal rosette of 5–8 leaves sometimes present; stem leaves in alternate groups of 3; lamina almost orbicular or slightly reniform, peltate, 2–3.5 mm diam., on slender petioles, the median 15–40 mm long, the laterals 5–10 mm long. Inflorescence a terminal panicle, 2–20-flowered; pedicels 3–10 mm long, sparsely pubescent or almost glabrous. Sepals lanceolate or narrowly obovate, fimbriate to pectinate, 3–6 mm long, hirsute. Petals obovate, 5–10 mm long, yellow. Styles 2–3 mm long, dichotomously divided from the base into many segments.
