Characteristics

Tree up to 2  tall. Branchlets 7-15 mm thick, usually glabrous. Stipules 2-8 cm long, glabrous; persistent or caducous; petiole 1.5-2 cm long, glabrous; blade narrowly obovate, coriaceous, 23-32 x 7-11 cm, apex acuminate, base acute, margin entire, glabrous on both sides; secondary veins 12-18 pairs. Figs usually several together on spurs, also below the leaves, (sub)globose, 0.6-1 cm, minutely puberulous, at maturity yellowish to orange (to dull red?), often with dark spots; peduncle 0.2-0.6 cm long; basal bracts 2, ca. 4 mm long; ostiole ca. 3 mm in diam., plane to slightly prominent.
