Characteristics

Prostrate herb with stock, to 20 cm long, softly pubescent with simple and multicellular hairs. Basal leaves elliptic to broadly elliptic, dentate to entire; lamina 10-25 mm long, 8-14 mm wide; petiole 1-3 cm long. Flowers distant in racemes to 20 cm long; bracts leaf-like; peduncle 1-2 cm long; bracteoles linear, 2 mm long; pedicel 1-1.5 cm long, not articulate. Sepals linear, 2.5 mm long. Corolla 8-10 mm long, pubescent inside, with enations, auriculate; abaxial lobes c. 3.5 mm wide; wings c. 2 mm wide. Indusium broadly elliptic. Ovules not seen. Fruit and seeds not known.
