Characteristics

Ascending herb to 25 cm tall, silvery cottony-villous. Basal leaves oblanceolate, entire; lamina 4-5 cm long, 6-10 mm wide. Raceme to 15 cm long; bracts leaf-like, smaller; peduncles to 5 mm long; bracteoles linear, 2-6 mm long; pedicel 2-3 mm long. Sepals linear-deltoid, 7-8 mm long. Corolla 15-18 mm long, with few short hairs inside, with enations, auriculate; abaxial lobes 8-9 mm long; wings c. 3 mm wide. Indusium suborbicular, c. 2 mm diam. Ovules c. 40. Fruit and seeds not seen.
