Characteristics

Erect to ascending herb to c. 30 cm tall, ±glabrescent, with few, soft hairs. Basal leaves not seen; cauline leaves linear, ±terete, with lamina 1-3.5 cm long, 0.5-1 mm wide. Flowers in racemes to 10 cm long, or subumbels; bracts leaf-like; pedicel 1-3 cm long, slender, divergent in fruit, articulate; bracteoles absent. Sepals lanceolate, c. 2 mm long. Corolla 6-7 mm long, with few long hairs inside, without enations, auriculate; abaxial lobes c. 3 mm long; wing c. 0.5 mm wide. Indusium broadly deltoid, 1.5 mm long. Ovules not known. Fruit ±globular, 3-4 mm diam. Mature seeds not seen; immature seeds orbicular, reticulate; wing broad.
