Characteristics

Usually several-stemmed, much-branched, perennial subshrub to 80 cm tall, glandular-viscid. Leaves basal and cauline, obovate to oblanceolate, sometimes dentate, glandular-pubescent to glabrescent; lamina 4-7 cm long, 2-3 cm wide. Flowers in loose thyrses to 40 cm long; bracts leaf-like, smaller apically; peduncle to 5 cm long; bracteoles usually linear, to 10 mm long; pedicel mostly to 4 mm long Corolla hairy inside; enations in regular rows bearing conspicuous tuft of hairs; lobes unequal to 14 mm long. Otherwise similar to Goodenia scaevolina .
