Characteristics

Vine; latex clear or occasionally white. Leaves glabrous; petiole 3.5–4.5 cm long; lamina lanceolate to broadly elliptic or ovate, to 9 cm long, to 5.5 cm wide, cordate to rounded at base, acuminate to acute; secondary veins 4 each side of midrib and radiating from base colleters 9–12. Inflorescence of several umbelliform fascicles. Flowers 4–5 mm long, 8–17 mm diam.; pedicels 12–15 mm long. Corolla flattened-campanulate, yellow to yellow-green; lobes triangular, 4–6 mm long, 4–6 mm wide. Staminal corona lobes laterally compressed; lower outer angle produced into short spur; upper angle shortly turned up into obtuse point and flanked by 2 side spurs. Follicles 11–15 cm long.
