Characteristics

Erectum glabrum, laxe ramosum, 16 cm altum; rami ad 2 mm diam., internodiis saepius 1-2 cm longis; folia adscendentia vel fere erecta, supra plana, subcompressa, carina vix visa, lat. visa interdum basin versus leviter angustata, obtusa vel abrupte acuta, viridia levia, ad 1.2 cm longa, medio 1.5 mm lata, ad 2 mm diam., vagina brevissima; flores solitarii vel 3-nati vel interdum pedunculi fructiferi 5-7, laxissime dispositi, ad 2.5 cm longi; pedunculi teretes graciles, a receptaculo subgloboso, 2.5-3 mm longo, 4 mm diam., bene distincti, prope medium bracteati, bracteis foliis simillimis; sepala 5, acuminata subaequilonga, ad 4 mm, basi 2-3 mm lata, 3 late brunneo marginata; petala 2-seriata, obtusa vel emarginata, inferne angustata, sat laxa, purpureo rosea, ad 1 cm longa, ad 1.5 mm lata; staminodia staminibus confertis subaequilonga, antheras abortivas ferentia, inferne longe papillata, saturate rosea, ad 4 mm longa; filamenta interiora prope medium papillata, rosea, antheris pollineque albide stramineis; discus crenulatus; ovarii lobi inconspicui, dorso complanati, vix ad per 1 mm elevati; stigmata 5, anguste subulata, ad 4 mm longa.
