Landolphia incerta (K.Schum.) J.G.M.Pers.

A creeper. It can be 35 m long. The stem can be 50 cm around. The leaves are thinly leathery. The leaf blade is 5-11 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. They are oblong. There are tendrils at the end. These are long, woody and have curved hooks. The flowers are in groups in the axils of leaves or at the ends of branches. The flowers are white tinged with pink. They have a sweet scent. The fruit is green when young and oval. They are 4 cm long by 2 cm wide. They turn orange or red. The seeds are 1 cm long.

A tropical plant. It can grow in both dry and swampy forests and in open areas up to 800 m altitude in West Africa.
