Inflorescences open, linear-lanceolate when dried, 80–140 mm long. Spikelets 18–21 mm long, with 7–9 florets. Glumes shorter than spikelet, equalling basal lemmas; lower glume 4.4–5.8 mm long. Lemma 6.3–8.3 mm long, glabrous. Palea elliptic to ovate, 5.7–7.5 mm long, glabrous between keels. Anthers 2.8–3.5 mm long. Caryopsis 2.4 mm long.
