Characteristics

Leaves simple, stalked, ternate, oblong-lanceolate or lanceolate, acute or sub-obtuse, mucronate, flat, margined, ad-pressed-pubescent above, silky-tomentose beneath, penninerved on both sides, lateral nerves prominent; panicles terminal, canescent, shorter than the leaves; drupe sub-globose, sub-fleshy. Perhaps a variety of the preceding, but differs by the more lanceolate, flat leaves, not glabrous on the upper surface, and the more glossy tomentum. Panicles and fruits are not different.
