Characteristics

Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets 6–9 x 2.5–3.5 cm., elliptic, apiculate-acuminate at the apex, acute at the base, glabrous on both sides, midrib prominent below, nerves 5–7, rather prominent above, more so below; petiole slender, up to 5 cm. long; petiolules c. 3 mm. long.

Fruit up to 4 x 1.0 cm. (? not quite mature), green and glossy, narrowly ellipsoid, papillose-verrucose, narrowed to a blunt apex, 4-valved.
Inflorescence of axillary racemes with 3–6 flowers; pedicels 2.5–3 cm. long, glabrous; basal bracteoles minute, c. 1 mm. long, subulate.
Sepals 3.0 x 0.7–0.9 cm., narrowly and sometimes obliquely lanceolate, apex acuminate, margin minutely pubescent.
