Cultivation

Origin: in Vittoria, Norfolk County, Ont., Canada, on the farm of Felix Redlich by Bion T. Forse of Simcoe, Ont. Introd. in 1950, both in Canada and the U.S.; P.I. 188872. Selection from a native wild species; discovered in 1946. Tree: large; vigorous; produces very good crops. Fruit: extremely large; very fine flavor.
