Characteristics

Young branches and branches of the inflorescences strigose to hirsute with up to 1½ mm long hairs. Leaves sparsely hirsute with rather rigid, up to 1½ mm long solitary hairs. Sepals strigose with up to 0.7 mm long hairs, single orin groups of 2-5, outside, glabrous inside. Capsules rather large, ca 8 by 5 mm.
