Leafy twigs (rather) sparsely minutely puberulous to subhispidulous, largely with ± curved hairs, or if strigillose to subvillous, then only at or near the nodes. Lamina mostly shorter than 10 cm, coriaceous; lower surface sparsely strigillose on the main veins, at least the midrib (or only puberulous with uncinate hairs); the smaller veins (almost) flat beneath; stipules caducous. Figs (sub)sessile; basal bracts (sub)persistent; receptacle small (mostly 0.3-0.5 cm diam. when dry), mostly non-stipitate, glabrous.
